WordPress Widgets (WPW) is like a plugin, but designed to provide a simple way to arrange the various elements of your sidebar content (known as “widgets”) without having to change any code.
Every of RocketTheme WordPress templates is Widgetized. It means it has special places where you can place builtin or downloaded widgets. Widgets can be a small gallery, mp3 player, calendar, twitter etc. It’s a great way to enchance your site without any knowledge of how to create websites.
Please remember that you can place more than 1 widget in place. This means that even if you got one place for widgets, you still can drop there a bunch of them
Afterburner has 14 places where you can put your widgets.
- Over Main Menu
- Main Menu
- Under Main Menu
- Over Page Menu
- Page Menu
- Under Page Menu
- Over Right Menu
- Right Menu
- Under Right Menu
- Footer 1
- Footer 2
- Footer 3
- Top
- Bottom
Afterburner uses 3 different sidebars : Main Menu Sidebar (displayed only on frontpage) and Page Sidebar (displayed on every other page) and Right Sidebar.
If you would like to place the widget above the existing menus on the frontpage it is as simple as dragging the selected widget (in the widgets section) to your chosen place.

Dragging widgets to Main Menu, Page Menu, Right Menu, Top, Bottom and Footer 1-3 sections will hide the default content of those sections and display your widget instead
